Showcasing your quality

We always enjoy seeing the work you complete but for your last competition, we were after something a little bit out of the ordinary! So, we asked you to share your most unusual project, for a chance to win a Makita site radio.

Whether it was an unusual location, a chance to use a specialist skill or just a bizarre request, we wanted to see it. Your entries didn't disappoint and we had some brilliantly weird and wonderful entries! From large-scale project to the very, very small, it's safe to say your jobs are truly varied!

This left us with the hard task of selecting the winner but in the end, we decided on Mark Keefe and his project on a former military base that was used during the Battle of Britain.

Mark told us how this base had been converted into a nuclear proof that goes hundreds of feet below ground and it used to house online cloud storage. He was asked to paint the bunker in military colours, in keeping with its history and due to the secure nature of the data stored, he did so under the watchful eye of his very own security guard!

Congratulations Mark, we hope your new Makita radio keeps you entertained on site, no matter where you find yourself next!

We'll be featuring more information on this and some of the other fantastic entries in your next Select newsletter.

Don't worry if you missed out this time, we're pleased to announce your next opportunity to win! We know many of you have been busy working on exterior projects over the summer months and it looks like you've produced some beautiful work, even with the high temperature and downpours to contend with! So, for the latest of your competitions, we want you to share your most impressive exterior transformations.

Once again there's a Makita radio on offer for our lucky winner! Simply submit your photos and some details about the job to our Facebook group or by email at DuluxSelectDecorators@Diversity.Agency, before the deadline of October 31st.
