Product Description

Dulux Trade Weathershield All Seasons Pliolite® Smooth Masonry is a flexible, smooth, solvent-based masonry paint ideal for use all-year round on exterior walls. Based on Pliolite® Acrylated Rubber resin technology, it gives up to 15 years lasting protection and is particularly suitable for use in difficult climates. It can be applied in very cold conditions and is able to withstand rainfall within 15 minutes of application. It is easy to apply and offers excellent opacity. Pliolite® is a registered trademark of Omnova Solutions Inc.

Application Description

Application: Brush or roller only. For Health and Safety reasons relating to all solvent-based paints, spray application is not recommended. STIR THOROUGHLY BEFORE USE. Seal sound new or bare surfaces with a coat of Dulux Trade Weathershield Stabilising Primer. The normal finishing process is 2 full coats of Weathershield All Seasons Pliolite® Smooth Masonry, however for significant colour change additional coats maybe required.

Tips & Advice

  • 1. Preparing the Surfaces
    Dulux Trade Weathershield Pliolite® smooth masonry can be applied down to 0°C, however the surface temperature of the substrate must be above freezing. To get the best results, ensure surfaces to be painted are sound, clean and dry (new surfaces must be fully dry). Treat any areas affected by mould, lichens and algae with a suitable fungicidal wash. See Dulux Trade Datasheet 1024 for full information, available at www.duluxtrade.co.uk or by telephoning 0333 222 70 70. Before surface preparation, read the Health & Safety information about old lead paints.
  • 2. Cleaning
    After use, remove as much paint as possible from brushes before cleaning with brush cleaner
  • 3. Storing
    Do not use or store in extremes of temperature and protect from frost
