Product Description

Dulux Trade Quick Drying Wood Primer Undercoat is a water-based, high opacity, dual purpose primer undercoat for interior and exterior woodwork, which is recoatable in 2-4 hours. It is ideal for use as a primer for softwoods, hardwoods, chipboard and fibre board (except fire retardant-treated types). Dulux Trade Quick Dry Wood Primer Undercoat can also be used as an undercoat for woodwork that has been previously primed or painted with either solvent- or water-based paint.

Application Description

Application: Brush, roller or spray. STIR THOROUGHLY BEFORE USE. Treat any knots in wood with an appropriate knotting solution. New or bare surfaces: 2 coats of Dulux Trade Quick Dry Wood Primer Undercoat. Previously painted surfaces: 1 coat of Dulux Trade Quick Dry Wood Primer Undercoat. Allow to dry for a minimum of 2 hours between coats, then apply an appropriate Dulux Trade paint system.

  • 1. Preparing the Surfaces
    To get the best results, ensure surfaces to be painted are sound, clean and dry (new surfaces particularly must be fully dry). See Dulux Trade Datasheet 202 for full information before use, available free on request by telephoning 0333 222 70 70 or visiting duluxtrade.co.uk. Before surface preparation read the Health & Safety information about old lead paints.
  • 2. Cleaning
    After use, remove as much paint as possible from the equipment before cleaning with water
  • 3. Storing
    Do not use or store in extremes of temperature and protect from frost
