Product Description

Dulux Trade Weathershield Quick Dry Exterior Satin is a water-based, mid-sheen finish which is part of a paint system specifically developed to give long lasting protection for exterior wood. Tests show that Weathershield Quick Dry Exterior Satin system will provide extensive protection for up to six years if correctly applied as per the instructions for use. Contains a fungicide to inhibit mould growth on the paint film and help it stay cleaner for longer.

Application Description

Application: Brush only. Do not spray. STIR THOROUGHLY BEFORE USE. Apply 1 coat of the appropriate coloured Weathershield Quick Dry Exterior Undercoat to all primed wood. Apply a second coat of Weathershield Quick Dry Exterior Undercoat overall, followed by 1 coat of Weathershield Quick Dry Exterior Satin. Where a strong colour change is involved, 2 coats may be required. Allow a minimum of 2 hours before overcoating Weathershield Quick Dry Exterior Undercoat.

Tips & Advice

  • 1. Preparing the Surfaces
    For the best results, ensure surfaces to be painted are sound, clean and dry (new surfaces must be fully dry). Treat any areas affected by mould, lichens and algae with a suitable fungicidal wash. See Dulux Trade Datasheet 428 for full information before use, available at www.duluxtrade.co.uk or by telephoning 0333 222 70 70. Before surface preparation read the Health & Safety information about old lead paints.
  • 2. Cleaning
    After use, remove as much paint as possible from brushes before cleaning with water
  • 3. Storing
    Do not use or store in extremes of temperature and protect from frost.
