Product Description

Dulux Trade Weathershield Multi-Surface Fungicidal Wash is designed for cleaning all bare or painted wood and masonry surfaces contaminated with moulds, algae and lichen. Suitable for brush application only.

Application Description

Application: Brush only. Do not spray. SHAKE THOROUGHLY BEFORE USE. Apply by brush to all affected areas. Leave for 24 hours then thoroughly rinse and scrub with water to remove residues and dead growth; failure to do this may result in discolouration of subsequently applied coatings. Repeat the process if necessary. On badly affected areas the use of high pressure water-hosing may be necessary to remove all organic growth completely. Do not apply in wet weather.

Tips & Advice

  • 1. Preparing the Surfaces
    For the best results, remove as much mould algae or lichen as possible by scraping and brushing, before treating. Weathershield Multi-Surface Fungicidal Wash will only be effective on surface growths. Where mould growths have been trapped between previous coats, all existing coatings need to be removed. See Dulux Trade Datasheet 803 for full information, available at www.duluxtrade.co.uk or by telephoning 0333 222 70 70.
  • 2. Cleaning
    After use, remove as much wash as possible from brushes before cleaning with water.
  • 3. Storing
    Do not use or store in extremes of temperature and protect from frost.
