Minimum Surface Preparation: Thoroughly clean the surface to remove dirt, grease and chalk. High pressure water jet or scrubbing manually are not recommended when re-coating existing Cladshield from Dulux Trade coatings. Treat any areas affected by mould, lichens and algae with a suitable fungicidal wash. Remove any poorly adhering or defective Plastisol coatings and manually or mechanically prepare bared surfaces to remove all contamination and corrosion. Any bare metal must be primed with a suitable Metalshield primer from Dulux Trade. Before surface preparation, read the Health & Safety information about old lead paints.

STIR THOROUGHLY BEFORE USE. The normal finishing process is a minimum of 2 coats of Cladshield from Dulux Trade. Where strong colours are used, additional coats will be required. For best colour consistency, purchase sufficient tinted paint for each job at one time from the same source.

Please note: Cladshield from Dulux Trade may require up to 7 days to reach full hardness depending on environmental conditions and colour.

After use, remove as much paint as possible from equipment before cleaning with water. Do not use or store in extremes of temperature and protect from frost.
